Because on average people spend 7.5 hours on a computer p/day…
& Product Hunters probably want even more!
(Thanks Product Hunters for an awesome launch week and making us a top 10 ranked Mac App & #1 Health App!)
But eye strain, then back pain, and exhaustion can keep dreams just dreams…
Maybe you’ve heard the rule from Google before…
It’s easy to do…
…but easy to forget
Luckily there’s an app for that!
Oh and one more thing…
You can set small goals during rests, to make them not disruptive but productive
While working you're passively coming up with ideas consciously and subconsciously
The rests are also a great time for your mind to actively put together the blocks and plan your next 20 minutes
20 minute tasks are great to prevent task list overload, set big goals in your daily list & small ones in Look Up

Converted me from Pomodoro
★★★★★
As a longtime pomodoro technique user I really appreciate all the improvements this app makes over the usual alarm-style apps. I may actually be converted to 20-20-20…

& optional pre-rest suggested seated stretches to do while looking up
How does the 20-20-20 rule work though?
Walking naturally leads to the eyes looking around and movements that are healthy for eyes and body
Much movement stops at the computer and eyes get tired for the same reasons your back gets sore.
Looking up refocuses and relaxes eyes, giving close range muscles used for viewing a computer a chance to rest.
